Kiddie Academy of Wiregrass Ranch

Our daughter went to Kiddie Academy when it first opened (and then aged out) so when it was time for our son to start daycare, there was no doubt about where we were going to send him. Every teacher here is so thoughtful and kind and I know that my son is in the best hands. The director and assistant director (Ms. Tracy and Ms. Lauren) are superhero's. They are incredibly knowledgeable, forward thinking and caring. Sending your baby to daycare can be really scary, but we are so happy to have the teachers and staff at Kiddie Academy! (Big Kuddos to the infant room teachers, Ms. Sam and Ms. Debbie!!)

My daughter just started but she already loves it. When I picked her up on day two she asked if she could stay a little bit longer to play with her new friends and her teacher. I am sure no daycare is perfect but so far everyone we interacted with from teacher and director to admin staff has been kind, friendly and helpful!

I love this daycare! My son is learning so much and loves all the activities. He has made great friends in his classroom, and loves his teachers. I'm amazed by how much he's learned when he gets home! I always feel it's safe and has great programs with community partners that help the kids do different activities throughout the week. I also love that the VPK teachers are not only state certified but also college educated. Thanks Kiddie Care!

My son has been here for a year now and we couldn’t be happier. The teachers and staff are always friendly, and they are always there to answers any questions we have. Any issues have been dealt with instantly. My son loves going to school and gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. He especially loves to press the green buttons to sign it. We are very happy here!

I have to agree with the previous review that addresses biting. Our daughter was bit a total of 9-10 times in the almost 3 years she was there. 4-5 of those bites happened within the last month of her being there, while she was in the Toddler A/B rooms. The newest Director, Traci, gave us the run around explaining how the other child and parents were working with them on solving the issue. It obviously was not working and my daughter continued to be a target. Shortly after all these bites, my daughter started having ‘behavior’ issues. I don’t find that to be a coincidence, between the bites and the constant change of teachers (lack of consistency and connection withe the children). We discussed that with Traci, who said in her years of experience, there is absolutely no relation between the bites and behavior. I disagreed. My daughter was not wanting to take her nap, that was her behavior issue, so she would snap at the teachers. Traci then proceeded to tell us to take her out of the crib at home. She thought it would be smart to tell us, the parents, how to raise our daughter and when to move her to a toddler bed, because I’m expecting another child. That did not sit well with me at all. She continued to call me almost on a daily basis to go pick up our daughter because of her ‘behavior’. My child is well behaved at home and naps with no problem. The issue was only at their daycare. We needed up getting fed up and unenrolling our daughter. She’s in a new daycare now and has been napping. It was unfortunate KAWR changed so much. Our daughter had been there since the infants room and saw how their services continued to decay and the tuition go up. I was hoping to have both my kids go there but after all of this and the insensitivity and robotic answers from Traci (who has been there for years), never again!
